This project explored how AI is used in the hiring process and how it impacts both recruiters and job seekers. I focused on understanding where AI improves efficiency and where it creates friction.I conducted in-depth interviews with HR professionals and a job seeker, along with ethnographic observation to capture real behaviors within the hiring process.
The findings revealed a gap between how AI is intended to function and how it is actually experienced, highlighting issues with trust, lack of transparency, and the continued need for human oversight.
